Baby Hat with Flower
I haven't done much knit or crochet in a while, but then a family member had a big party to celebrate the baptism of her first child - a little girl.
I busted out a book filled with cute, simple patterns, called "Simple 1-2-3 Knitting." I loved loved loved the Daisy Top Hat, but had no interest in a nice slow knit project. I'm a terribly slow knitter. So I took out a crochet hook and some yarn and started heavily modifying.
This is what I ended up with. I really liked it. I'm still not sure it's my family member's style though, so I attached the flower with two safety pins so they could remove it and just use the hat (or just use the flower).
